The following is an indication of the number of full-time and part-time faculty. Full-time faculty members teach one or more Advertising or Public Relations courses per year and derive their primary income from teaching.
Grand Valley State University is a regional four-year liberal arts institution located in western Michigan. While faculty are engaged in research, the university places an emphasis on teaching.
The Advertising and Public Relations major is in the School of Communications. It is an integrated major, in which students emphasize either advertising or public relations. Students may also minor in Ad and PR. The program is known for academic excellence, experiential learning with in-class clients, and thriving PRSSA and AdClub student groups that are both recognized nationally.
